Hackescher Graffiti

Hackescher Markt, in Berlin's Mitte, is vibrant and paradoxical with areas that are clean, reconstructed and upscale mixed with graffiti covered, war damaged eastblock alleys that seem to be holding out, somehow escaping the tendency to clean up, fix and commemorate everything in sight, thriving in their own off-beat way. (I had no idea that Lucy was it.)
